Dallas to CO: Garden of the gods

We continued our journey after our stop in Dallas. Sunday morning, June 16 we picked up Jeff's dad at the DFW airport and took off for Montana. We made it to Pueblo, CO the first night. The next morning, we visited the Garden of the gods in Colorado Springs.

Marin & Ellery's 3rd Birthday Party!

Friday, June 14, we started out on our journey which will not end until the end of July. Our first stop was Dallas, for our nieces 3rd birthday party. It was so much fun and everyone had a great time! It was so much fun to help them celebrate! Avonlea loved every second of this Safari themed party! :)

Brazos Bend & Freeport

After Avonlea's party, Mom & Dad stayed for a few days and we decided to take a trip down to Brazos Bend State Park, where we saw alligators, beautiful scenery & luckily the only snakes we saw were caged in the information building! Before arriving at the park, we ate at a very Texas-esque restaurant in Sugar Land called the Live Oak Grill. It was a fun day to explore new parts of Texas.

Avonlea turns 3!

Avonlea turned 3 on June 7th and she had an action-packed weekend of festivities. Grandma & Grandpa Martin drove in on her actual birthday and took her out to Chuck-E-Cheese to kick off the weekend. Later that night, Aunt Susan, Uncle Jon & the cousins came in to have some cupcakes. Saturday, we loaded up the cars to head to church where we had her Butterfly Birthday party. She had a blast! Can't believe our little girl is 3!
