Spring in Texas!

My favorite time of year in Texas is the spring!  The Texas countryside is full of rolling hills, ranches, cattle, rustic fence & WILDFLOWERS!  Each year Jeff, Avonlea & I make our way up to Brenham (and surrounding areas) to see some of the most beautiful vistas a person can get.  So, today we made that journey.  We started by going through Chapel Hill, then drove to Old Baylor in Independance, stopped at the Antique Rose Emporium & lastly, ate at Must Be Heaven in downtown Brenham. We had a fun, but exhausting day. Hope you enjoy the pics!

When Irish Eyes are Smiling...

 We started the afternoon off by attending the St. Patrick's day parade a couple blocks from our house

Then Jeff and I headed to the Mucky Duck for some authentic Irish food, music & dancing!

 

A fun time was had by all!
