Montana or bust!

This summer, our big family trip was to Montana and then to Minnesota. Jeff's cousin, Justin, got married to a wonderful gal from Ennis, MT. We started our trek north from Houston, stopped in Dallas for Marin and Ellery's 3rd Birthday party and kept on chuggin'. Sunday morning, we picked up Jeff's dad, drove through west Texas, up through the corner of New Mexico and found a hotel to stay in, in Pueblo, CO. The next morning, we drove to Colorado Springs and toured the Garden of the gods. By the end of the day, we had traveled through all of CO and most of Wyoming. Tuesday, after driving through the Grand Teton National Park, Avonlea and I needed some "girl time" while the guys went hiking in the Tetons. So...we shopped, had brunch and relaxed in Jackson Hole. That afternoon we made our first appearance in Yellowstone where after much waiting we saw Old Faithful Geyser "do-its-thing". We continued on through Yellowstone spotting tons of Buffalo next to the road. Finally, after a long days journey, we arrived at the awesome cabin in Ennis. Once there, we made daytrips to Virginia City, Nevada City, Yellowstone (where we did the entire loop) and enjoyed lots of fun family time!  Here are some of the pics along the way.
